Carol A. Burnsworth passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, in the comfort of her son's home where she enjoyed the last 5 weeks of her life surrounded by family. Beloved wife of the late Walter L. Burnsworth.

Loving mother of Robin Diana, Earl Ball, Kelly (Mark Pcionek) Ball, Traci (Tommy) Smardz, and Brett (Alexis) Burnsworth. Cherished grandmother of Marissa Diana, Mary-Claire Ball, Matthew Smardz, Ryan Diana, Andrew Ball, Emilee Smardz, Chase Pcionek, Liza Pcionek, and Grayson Burnsworth. Dear sister of Marilyn Warmington and the late Dennis Bley, Richard Bley, and Regina Musialowski. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Carol was a strong-willed woman and the true embodiment of resilience, determination, and unconditional love. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend who always placed the needs of others before her own. Her unwavering devotion to both her family and community was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a beacon of love and support, always ready to lend a helping hand to all in need. Carol found solace in spending time with her grandchildren at their activities that mirrored her vibrant spirit of love. She engaged in lively discussions with family and friends about current events and effortlessly completed puzzles with precision and speed.

Carol's warm heart touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact that will be felt for years to come. She brought joy and light into the world, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her love, strength and guidance will remain with us always.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the ADDISON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 262 N. Main St., Angola, NY, where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carol’s memory to Hospice & Palliative Care of Buffalo.
