In Loving Memory of Earl “Pat” LaMoy
Earl “Pat” LaMoy was a loving father, devoted family member, and a man whose presence touched the lives of those around him. He will be remembered for the love he gave, the memories he created, and the lasting impact he had on his family.
Pat had a special love for animals. They brought him comfort, companionship, and joy throughout his life. His gentle nature and affection for animals were a beautiful reflection of the caring person he was.
In the later years of his life, Pat faced the difficult battle of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Although these illnesses gradually took away pieces of his memory and independence, they could never take away the love his family had for him or the memories of the man he was. Through every challenge, he remained deeply loved and cared for.
Pat’s life was filled with many chapters, experiences, and moments that will forever remain a part of the hearts of those who knew him. His family is grateful for the time they were blessed to have with him and will carry his memory forward with love.
As we say goodbye to Pat, we celebrate not only the life he lived, but the person he was—a loving father, a compassionate animal lover, and someone who meant so much to his family. Though Alzheimer’s and dementia changed so much in his final years, they did not define him. He was, and always will be, so much more than his illness.
His memory will live on through his family, the stories we share, the love he gave, and the lives he touched.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Earl “Pat” LaMoy may be made to the Hospice Foundation in appreciation of the compassionate care provided to him and in support of hospice care for other individuals and families facing the end-of-life journey.
Rest peacefully, Dad. You fought a long and difficult battle. You are finally free from the struggles of this illness. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and forever be a part of our hearts.
